Graduate Essay
“E-TERRA and Me”
I am a graduate of the E-TERRA Institute, group A-12. Two years ago, I had serious doubts about whether to enrol in the Faculty of Astrology. I spent a long time looking for a school or institute, hesitating and weighing my choices… But something inside me responded when I learned about this Institute. I wrote to them, passed the selection process, and my studies began.
At first, I was afraid: afraid to express myself, afraid to make mistakes, even though I already had some basic knowledge. The first semester passed in a state of tension and uncertainty. I especially remember my first exam, which was my first live consultation. I consulted with a young woman without knowing any of her details or her date of birth beforehand. It was incredibly nerve-racking: I stumbled over my words and was very nervous, and I still remember that day with a sense of awe and gratitude. It was my first real step into practice.
I would like to express special thanks to Renata Anatoliivna. To be honest, at first I found it very difficult to get used to learning without lecture notes. All our learning was based on practice, analysis and reflection. I was used to a systematic approach: everything planned, neatly organised and written down. Adjusting was not easy. Yet it was this method, so alive and genuine, that changed my way of thinking and absorbing knowledge. We did more than study: we learned to see and feel. Now I cannot imagine truly learning astrology from lecture notes alone. Only practice, real experience, observation and in-depth analysis of a living person bring genuine understanding.
Over these two years, I have grown a great deal. I am no longer afraid to give consultations. What is more, today I see much more in a person than simply the manifestations of a natal chart. I see how the planets are reflected in their face, figure, voice, movements and behaviour. This is astrology embodied in a living person, and it is priceless. Thanks to the knowledge I gained at the Institute, my consultations have become an in-depth analysis of the whole person, rather than their date of birth alone. I see inner struggles, fears and hidden emotions, things a person may leave unspoken. And when the situation allows, I try to help carefully and sensitively. It is especially moving when someone comes to me with a sceptical attitude, believing astrology is not something to take seriously. Then, just a few minutes later, they are crying in amazement: “How did you know that? How could you see it?” These moments are impossible to put into words. They affirm the value of the knowledge I gained. Those two years flew by in an instant. And now it is especially sad to say goodbye to the feeling of looking forward to classes, to that special time twice a week: an hour and a half of inspiration, growth and insights. It was an amazing journey. My sincere thanks to everyone who was there for me.
